Robbery at the Tivat airport: a Serbian citizen stole an Austrian's wallet from his backpack

Serbian citizen M.M. (25) was arrested after he was found to have stolen money from an Austrian citizen's backpack at the gate of the Tivat airport.
On August 16, an Austrian citizen reported to the police officers of the Regional Security Center "South" of the Tivat Security Department that on August 14, at the exit gate for international flights at the Tivat Airport, money in the amount of of 4,700 euros, as well as a bank card, which the injured party noticed on the day of filing the report - the police said in a statement.
Undertaking coordinated activities with the officers of Border Police Station II Tivat, a possible perpetrator of the crime was identified and a local search was launched for him, and on August 16 at 3 p.m., during the control at the Tivat Airport border crossing, M.M. was detained. (25) citizen of the Republic of Serbia.
The police came to suspect that M.M. taking advantage of the inattention of the injured party, he took a wallet from his backpack, from which he stole the mentioned money and a bank card, and put the wallet back in his backpack and abandoned the scheduled flight, and left in the direction of Bar. The prosecutor in the Basic State Prosecutor's Office in Kotor was informed of the incident, who qualified the criminal offense of aggravated theft, and the suspect was taken to him today for further jurisdiction with a criminal report - it was announced from the UP.
