RTCG employee protest: burns, and we thought it was refreshed

Employees' union in Radio Television of Montenegro (RTCG) organized a protest because after several months of unsuccessful negotiations with management, no agreement was reached on increasing the salary requested - in accordance with the recommendation of the Ministry of Finance.

The assembled president of the Jadranka Drobnjak union addressed the Jadranka Drobnjak that the management of RTCG was constantly obstructing and procrastinated to achieve an agreement on increasing earnings.

We repeatedly deceived that we are at the reach of the final agreement, which culminated at the session of the Council held on April 13, which was transferred to another RTCG. Then the RTCG workers and the public of Maltena were convinced that an increase in salaries is over. When the cameras are excluded, the negotiations are, by who knows which way, returned to the initial correct - the Drugnjak pointed out.

The underlines are to strike because they have not accepted their proposals for the coefficients who are, as in the union claims, the most favorable for RTCG workers.

The coefficients are harmonized with the recommendation of the Ministry of Finance and fit into the financial assets that have opted for this purpose. That is why today, on behalf of the workers of this house, creating a salaries every day ranging from 450 euros to the below-average Montenegrin earnings, asking the question: Why is our proposal acceptable for the management of RTCG that received four-digit salaries each month? - She pointed out a craft.

It also indicated that the Director General of RTCG Boris Raonić receives almost seven average Montenegrin salaries - ie 3,500 euros.

We wonder how many more management plans to procrastinate with the increased workers - added a crop.

As she said, they belong to them as all public sector employees who have already achieved that right.

Although more than four months unsuccessfully negotiated, during the weekend, the interest of management for negotiations increased due to the announced strike. In addition, management manipulates numbers announces an increase of 28 percent, which, responsibly claim, is not true, "Drobnjak pointed out.

She found that this could also be seen in the television attachment where the percentages were indicated that are convincingly smaller than 28 percent.

All this monitors the non-handful and unbalanced reporting of our media house with a message that the administrative trade union blocks the negotiations. We hope that this is the last time RTCG as a media house is to abandon the basic human rights of their associates, "Drobnjak said.

The Drobnjak pointed out that he hopes that he would soon celebrate May 3 - International Day of Media Freedoms.

Media freedoms are basic human freedom and one of the pillars of a democratic society. In this context, the role of public service is especially important, which is publicly well all citizens. We hope all together we will overcome the atmosphere of violated trust, disrespect, intimidation, endangerment of human rights to increase salaries in accordance with the laws and recommendations of the Government. Also, we hope that the right to trade union activity will never be endangered and that our problem will finally be resolved - the president of the union employees in the public service.
