Martinović: We will protect employees, protection services to give greater powers

In the past year, Montenegrin national parks achieved a significant increase in revenues of as many as 1,433,000 euros compared to 2022. However, in order to avoid incorrect interpretations and counterparts, Martinović has detailed that these funds are carefully focused on the following purposes in the amount of 996,624 euros, the payment of tax debt from the previous period of 150,000 euros, loan payment by IRF from the previous period in the amount of 47,641 euros, procurement and investment in fixed assets in the amount of 171,176 euros, execution under judicial disputes from the previous period of 175,000 euros.
Martinović emphasized that the savings of about 100,000 euros were evident on the basis of other costs. This transparent access to the distribution of funds further confirms the responsibility of national parks towards society and preserve natural resources.
It is known that the company in the first quarter is funded by subsidies from the budget, because it does not exercise revenues from visits. Nevertheless, we managed to pay the January salary from our own revenues, the funds that we have saved since last year's revenue, which has not happened in this company since 2017 - he said.
In addition to the challenges that the company is facing employees based on the inconsistencies of the Law on Public Sector Earies, Martinovic also mentioned that due to previous administrations, 150 thousand euros were recently taken from the lost court dispute.
The result of this administration is now zero lost disputes, and I also need to point out that all judicial proceedings against companies refer to the period before my appointment for the director of the company, which speaks about the manner in the previous period - said Martinovic.
