SD: Instead of pro-Vučić, Montenegro needs a credible pro-European and pro-NATO government

Instead of dealing with growing problems in his own country, the President of Serbia for the umpteenth time shows an undisguised desire to regulate the political situation in our country, say the Social Democrats (SD).
With a clear intention to influence the structure and composition of the new 44th government, Aleksandar Vučić actually wants to preserve the decisive political influence he had on the outgoing government, thanks to which his agenda was ahead of the European one - said the SD.
They emphasize that instead of a pro-Vučić government, Montenegro needs a credible pro-European and pro-NATO government, united around civil, secular and anti-fascist values.
Only such a government can lead a policy that is fully aligned with our foreign policy priorities, that is, the expectations of our partner countries, who know just as much as we do that anti-European forces cannot lead European policy. Just as we know that parties that are staunch opponents of NATO cannot be expected to make the necessary contribution to the return of credibility that we have practically lost among NATO allies by participating in the government - they conclude in the announcement.
