SD Nikšić: The actions of the local authorities are not surprising, they will be defeated in their plans

With the shameful decisions of the local authorities in Nikšić, which plan to rename streets named in memory of our ancestors who laid down their lives so that today the women and men of Nikšić, their descendants, could live freely, the local authorities have shown what we have been claiming for a long time - that there a serious problem with anti-fascism, assessed the Nikšić Municipal Committee of Social Democrats.
It is not surprising, as they say, from those whose ardent supporters urinated on the national hero Ljubo Čupić and threatened him that they had killed him once, and would kill him once more even when he was dead.
Ljub's bust still watches his city with a smile, just as he died with a smile, but we, the residents of Nikšić, must not silently observe this behavior of the decision makers in our city. Such decisions are not surprising even from the local government, which unsuccessfully tried to replace Santa Claus with the Chetnik commander Dragoljub Mihajlović during the New Year holidays. We are not surprised by this kind of behavior from the local government, whose victories, among other things, mean the victory of fascism over anti-fascism.
Revision of history is not at all unknown in these areas, so even Nikšić's rulers, advocates of the so-called "Serbian world". However, Nikšić defeated the ideology they advocate in 1945 in much more difficult conditions, so let them have no doubt that they will be defeated in this plan in 2023 as well - concludes the SD.
