Several citizens of Cetinje were invited to an informative interview

Yesterday, the Police Department of Security - Cetinje made several calls during the day in order to collect information from the citizens of Cetinje who participated in the protest on Friday ahead of the promotion of the presidential candidate of the "Europe Now" Movement, Jakov Milatović, in that city.
More than a dozen citizens of the capital gathered in front of the Sports Center building on Friday to express their protest over its role during the violent enthronement of the Metropolitan of the Church of Serbia Joaniki in Cetinje on September 5, 2021.
During Milatović's arrival at the election convention in the Sports Center building, an incident occurred, during which, while Milatović and his security guard were passing through the police barricade, the gathered citizens pushed and kicked with members of the police.
Milatović was greeted with whistles and protests from dozens of people from Cetinje. As could be seen on the Pobjeda video, during the passage through the police barricade, a member of Milatović's security tripped and almost knocked down the presidential candidate whom he had hugged just before. That was Milatović's only physical contact with anyone, during the entry into the Sports Center building in Cetinje.
The prosecution is on the move
Several citizens of Cetinje who were summoned by the police have already given their statements in the capacity of citizens in the Security Department, while the rest have been invited to give their statements today.
The police refers to Article 259 paragraph 1 of the Criminal Procedure Act, which states that "the police may summon citizens to collect information about the criminal act and the perpetrator", and that the citizen has the right to come to the police premises together with a lawyer.
After collecting information from citizens about whether there are elements of a criminal act, the prosecutor's office in Cetinje will make a statement.
As Pobjeda reported on Friday, those gathered in front of the Sports Center building, where a pre-election convention was later held in front of about 40 Milatović's supporters, among whom there were only a dozen from Cetinje, carried banners with the message: "For you is contempt, not a place president. Svetosavska slugo!", "So what if 10 Montenegrins die in Cetinje. September 5, 2021 - Jadov Milatović" and "Jadov and Dodik are now dead from Cetinje!".
Despite the fact that the event was attended by representatives of only two Montenegrin media, Pobjeda and RTV Cetinje - none of which reported that there was an "attack" and "violence" - politicians and some non-governmental organizations, supported by media "reports" of journalists who were kilometers away from the scene, after the event they raced to report and condemn precisely the "attacks" and "violence" against Milatović.
A group of citizens of Cetinje denied that any of the gathered demonstrators had made contact with Milatović, which is stated in the police reports, as well as on the basis of recordings and photographs of only two journalistic teams present, but numerous domestic reactions were followed by condemnations of attacks and violence from international address.
Kaluđerović: Manipulations
Neno Kaluđerović from Cetinje reacted yesterday due to, as he stated, the manipulation of his name by the official of the "Europe Now" Movement, Andrej Milović, who previously announced that he had negotiated with Kaluđerović, as the leader of the protest, and shook hands with him - after which the demonstrators broke up on Friday.
Yesterday, Milović, speaking in support of his advocating that "fraternal blood should not be shed because of thieves who have been fighting us for 30 years", cited as evidence a conversation in front of witnesses that, according to him, he conducted with a group of Protestants and one of their leaders - Kaluđerović .
More than an hour before the protest, a friend called me on the phone (in the presence of Andrej Milović) to tell me that Jakov Milatović will withdraw from the convention in Cetinje, because he does not want to provoke the people of Cetinje and bring bad blood after the public message of a group of citizens from Cetinje, but that in return he wants to meet with me and explain that he did not say in the "VAR room" a year and a half ago what is attributed to him - that it is not a shame to sacrifice ten Montenegrins in order to forcibly enthrone Jovan Mićović - stated Kaluđerović.
He said that what followed - when Jakov Milatović, accompanied by his officials, suspicious persons and security guards, appeared in front of the Sports Center "shows the value of the word of Andrej Milović and his party colleagues".
I emphasize that, as far as I have seen, none of the citizens laid a finger on Jakov Milatović! The commotion was caused by people from his entourage, including Milović, who tripped him in a puddle in front of the Sports Center (as can be seen from the footage circulating on social networks).
The reaction of the demonstrators was, as far as I know, exclusively verbal, and there was especially chanting after Jakov Milatović tripped. The commotion that then arose was caused by the reaction of the police, who pushed the demonstrators to the right and left of the passage so that Milatović could enter the Sports Center - Kaluđerović stated.
According to his statements, the demonstrators clearly saw that there were weapons among the people from Milatović's entourage.
After entering the building, I received a phone call from Andrej Milović who invited me to we are talking through the window. Instead of insinuating that I shook hands with him in a friendly manner, Milović should tell the truth about what I told him then - that they are liars and freaks who, like on September 4 and 5, came to Cetinje by force and at gunpoint to they demonstrate their power and try to humiliate the people of Cetinje who do not agree to their shameful traitorous role in society - Kaluđerović stated.
A given word
He said that Milović should say that he asked him if he kept his word that he would not come to the convention and cause resistance and anger from citizens who had not yet forgotten Milatović's words before the Belvedere.
I asked him: "Is this preventing bloodshed?" This is how Dritan saved Montenegro on September 4 and 5, when he brought criminals with long pipes and all the Montenegrin and Serbian police to terrorize Cetinje. I said that then, as well as today, Montenegrins saved bloodshed. After that, others started interjecting into the conversation between me and Milović, so in order to avoid creating a commotion or provocation, I ended the conversation by shaking hands with Milović, with the message that we will continue it another time - Kaluđerović said.
He called Milović's allegations that he is one of the leaders of the protest a target.
Andrej Milović, a lawyer and member of Abazović's Prosecutorial Council, knows this well. Neither was I the leader, nor did yesterday's protest need a leader. To welcome such creatures, the people of Cetinje never needed a leader! - concluded Kaluđerović.
Condemnation of embassies
The diplomatic missions of the United States of America, the European Union and the United Kingdom assessed yesterday that violence has no place in the election process and called on the authorities to ensure a safe and free election environment.
The USA strongly condemns the violence in Cetinje. The Montenegrin authorities must take urgent measures to hold the attackers accountable and ensure safe, free and fair elections for all - the US Embassy tweeted.
EU Ambassador to Montenegro Oana Kristina Popa, reacting to the events of two days ago in the capital, stated that the EU condemns violence against the presidential candidate in Cetinje, as well as any form of threats or violence, including verbal, physical or online, against any presidential candidate.
The Pope called on the competent authorities to initiate proceedings against those responsible and ensure a safe and free election environment.
An attack on any of the candidates during the presidential election campaign is, in addition, an attack on the democratic process, said the ambassador of the United Kingdom in Montenegro, Karen Madox.
She stated that she agrees with the assessments of her colleagues from the EU and the USA.
Basically, according to her, violence or threats of violence against anyone are not acceptable.
An attack on any of the candidates during the presidential election campaign is, in addition, an attack on the democratic process. I hope that the authorities will take appropriate measures against those responsible and ensure the safety of all candidates during the campaign - stated Medoks.
Where did the person with the thick file on Milatović come from?
Unpleasant scenes in Cetinje on the eve of the promotion of the presidential candidate of the "Europe Now" Movement, in addition to numerous contradictory reactions and interpretations, triggered a mountain of material for the investigative authorities: including whether there were persons in Milatović's close environment who should not be there.
This is supported by the presentation of information in the media about persons accompanying Milatović who have been punished multiple times.
According to Antena M, it is about Zoran Ljiljanić (47), from Podgorica, convicted of several crimes, who was in the company of Milatović in Cetinje.
According to the data available to Antena M — which is based on the register of criminal records of the Ministry of Justice, Human and Minority Rights — since 1995, Ljiljanić has been in conflict with the law, beginning with the imposition of measures of enhanced parental supervision, through the conviction for inflicting serious bodily harm and illegal possession of weapons and explosive substances.
According to that media, act no. 01-1110 of September 6, 2012 of Filip Vujanović, the then president of Montenegro, Ljiljanić's prison sentence was replaced by a suspended sentence and at the same time it was determined that the sentence will not be carried out if the convicted person does not commit a new criminal offense within five years.
However, on June 14, 2017, officers of the Police Administration - Podgorica Security Center arrested Ljiljanić in the Tološi neighborhood of Podgorica for illegal possession of weapons.
Following an operative report that Ljiljanić was threatening one person with a gun, the police patrol deprived him of his liberty and found a discarded "CZ" pistol, cal. 7.65 mm.
There was a bullet in the barrel of the gun, while there were six more bullets in the frame of the gun.
Zoran Ljiljanić's wife, Nađa Ljiljanić, was on the committee list of Jakov Milatović - Europe now in the campaign for the recent local elections in Podgorica.
