Sokol: The Posrpian forces use the President Act to come to power opposite

The Prophet of European Parliament Tomislav Sokol said that frequent external interferences in the democratic processes in Europe aim to endanger the basic values and destabilize the European Society.

One of the most obvious examples is to change the Law on the President, who want to use anti -European and dedicated forces to come to power in Montenegro in the opposite way, the EU candidate country - said Sokol during the Union in the European Parliament.

Sokol said that, contrary to the recommendations of the Venetian Commission, by voting on the law in the Assembly of Montenegro, the state fell into the constitutional crisis of unprecedented precedent crisis

Therefore, there was no choice but to cancel the session of the Parliamentary Committee for Stabilization and Association between the European Union and Montenegro, which was scheduled for this week. The space of Southeast Europe is under the increasing intelligence, media and economic influence of foreign authoritarian regimes, which can destablish the European Union itself. A particular problem is Serbia's politics, which persistently tries to sit on two chairs, maintaining military and economic cooperation with Russia and refusing to introduce sanctions to Moscow. Unfortunately, the Serbian dedication and hegemonic policy contributes to the destabilization of neighboring countries and the entire Western Balkans. That is why it is more important for the European Union now than ever more actively involved in political processes in this part of Europe, because the consequences of our passivity could be devastating, '' Sokol emphasized.

At the Plenary Session of the European Parliament, which is held in Strasbur, the messengers discussed the interference of third countries in democratic processes in Europe. In Sokol, in speech, he invited the European Union to be more actively involved in political processes in Southeast Europe.
