SPP withdrew its support for the Europe Now Movement

At the session of the Main Board of the Justice and Reconciliation Party in Montenegro held today in Rožaje, a decision was made to withdraw support for the Europe Now Movement in the upcoming parliamentary elections.
Also, the party's current president, Seid Hadžić, was expelled from the party.
Seid Hadžić, the former president of the SPP, was unanimously expelled from the party membership due to, as has been irrefutably established, gross abuse of office, distribution of untrue information for personal gain and numerous violations of the party's statutes, all of which led to damage to the party's reputation and the loss of SPP's parliamentary status. As a detailed analysis of the events of the last month has established from several sources, including officials of the Europe Now Movement, Seid Hadžić, against his will and against the decisions of the party, on his own initiative and according to some information in cooperation with certain PES officials, delegated himself to a position that is in principle agreed for the SPP on the PES list for the upcoming parliamentary elections - says the SPP announcement.
According to their statement, using public appearances in PES in the last month, Hadžić defrauded the leadership of the SPP and the role of negotiator on behalf of the party, illegally and despite the decisions of the party, took it exclusively on himself, as was confirmed to us by some PES officials.
Bearing in mind all of the above and much more, the SPP Main Committee unanimously decided to exclude Seid Hadžić from the Party of Justice and Reconciliation, as well as confirming the earlier decision of the presidency that Seid Hadžić does not represent the Party of Justice and Reconciliation on the list of Europe now as a candidate for deputy in To the Assembly of Montenegro - they say from SPP.
The party pointed out that, analyzing all the available information about the role of individual PES officials, the unprofessional attitude of the top of the party and the blackmail of that movement in connection with the choice of the name of the SPP candidate on their list. by a unanimous decision of the Main Board, it was decided that the party would withdraw its support for that Movement as an unreliable partner.
And this to a partner who is obviously trying to bring under his control, not only individuals but also entire parties, and as the SPP represents the interests of the Bosniak people above all, even the smallest form of blackmail from anyone is absolutely unacceptable, so that movement won 80 percent of the votes in the next elections. Bosniaks are not for sale, they do not agree to blackmail and they do not agree to have someone else determine the personalities that will represent them. DPS tried to do it for ten years and failed, and we simply don't understand on what basis colleagues from PES thought that they could do it too. Unfortunately, after extremely correct cooperation with the now president of the state, Mr. Jakov Milatović, during the presidential campaign, this time colleagues from PES behaved extremely improperly, which certainly cannot be accepted by SPP. At the session of the Main Board, in addition to the current situation, it was emphasized that supporting Mr. Milatović was the right move and that based on his work so far, and hopefully in the future, the president of the state deserves our support - the SPP press release points out.
