Suspect arrested for capital murder for self-interest in Nikšić

Police officers of the Regional Security Center "Zapad" carried out intensive activities within their jurisdiction, in a short period of time shed light on a serious murder for self-interest and deprived the perpetrator of his freedom in Nikšić.
As stated by the Police Administration, last night around 8:50 p.m. the duty service of the Nikšić Security Department was informed by citizens that S.B. was killed by an unknown person in the town of Slano near a family house.
Immediately after the report, the police officers blockaded the wider area of the place and the area of Broćanac, and while searching the area for the unknown perpetrator who had fled the scene, at a distance of 2 km from the place of execution, they located the person of P.Ć. (40) from Nikšić, who is suspected of being the perpetrator of this crime.
P.Ć. was deprived of his liberty, and during a further search of the area, police officers found the means of committing the crime - a knife, as well as items suspected to be from the commission of the crime, two mobile phones, 715 euros, a bank book, a certain amount of gold and watches, and a passport P.Ć.
The investigation carried out on the spot established that the perpetrator ransacked the victim's house, and after committing the crime tried to flee in the victim's vehicle, which he failed to do.
He is known to the police from the previous period for committing crimes in the area of property crime.
Suspect P.Ć. will be brought to the acting prosecutor in the Higher State Prosecutor's Office in Podgorica within the legal term with a criminal report for further jurisdiction.
