The child sent false reports about bombs, reports against the parents

Officials of the Police Administration discovered the identity of the child who had been sending emails about bombs placed in elementary schools in the territory of Podgorica, Danilovgrad and Bar in the past few days.
Educational institutions received e-mails with controversial content for three consecutive days. The Ministry of Education, Science and Innovation announced that, among others, the schools "Marko Miljanov", "Sutjeska", "Radojica Perović" and "Pavle Rovinski", "Štampar Makarije" received messages about bombs. "Milorad Musa Burzan", "Vuko Jovović" in Danilovgrad and JU "Srbija" in Bar. For all students, classes were held online.
Officers of the Sector for the fight against crime, Group for the suppression of high-tech and cybercrime in cooperation with the officers of the Regional Security Center "Centar", identified a person who, in the period from December 20 to 22, was in 19 educational institutions on the territory of the municipalities of Podgorica, Danilovgrad and At least, it sent an email with disturbing and threatening content that refers to the potential activation of an explosive device in those institutions. Through comprehensive checks and conducted telecommunication analyses, information was obtained about the location and mobile device, as well as a potential person who was suspected of having participated in the activities of sending the mentioned threats - the Police Administration announced.
In a coordinated action of the Sector for the fight against crime and the Regional Security Center "Centar", the Podgorica Security Department, and by order of the Basic State Prosecutor's Office in Podgorica, a search of an apartment and other premises in Podgorica was carried out yesterday.
Material evidence was found with one child that indicates that he created and sent questionable emails from his mobile device - say the police.
Due to the panic and disorder caused by the minor sending emails to educational institutions, officers of the Police Administration will file reports against both parents for neglect - a violation from Article 37 of the Law on Protection from Domestic Violence.
The Police Administration says that in the future they will focus all their capacities primarily on the safety of the most vulnerable categories - children.
At the same time, we appeal to all parents to pay special attention and exercise some control over children's activities in the part of monitoring their activities that they undertake via social networks and the use of digital technology in cyberspace, which very often can be harmful both to the individual and to society as a whole which was reflected in this case - said the police.
