The government has allocated more than 1.7 million euros in the last eight months

From the day when it is down until today, the outgoing government has made more than 1.7 million euros in support of the Serbian Orthodox Church from the budget. At the same time, it is only the data that are disclosed or officially announced.

First, at the end of September, the then downed government decided to approve the amount of 900 thousand euros to finance the Private School whose founder of the Serbian Orthodox Church.

It happened, although it was an institution that was not licensed, and despite the opposition of part of the public and the Ministers from the government itself.

After that, the Ministry of Justice paid off the Serbian Orthodox Church 584,644 euros. This information also included in the official report of the mentioned Ministry, with all the other religious communities were given - 25,000 euros.

Yesterday, he was disclosed and that another 220,000 euros for the Serbian Orthodox head will be approved at the impending session of the Government. This time, this was determined on the eve of the parliamentary elections, in agreement by the Minister of Justice Marko Kovač with the officials of the Democrat. The funds will be spent on the reconstruction of the Cathic Church in Nikšić.
