The Holocaust will remain forever on the conscience of humanity, wrote on Twitter the President of Montenegro, Milo Đukanović, on the occasion of marking the International Holocaust Day. He joined the WeRemember campaign.
"On the occasion of #HolocaustRemembranceDay2023, I join the #WeRemember @WorldJewishCong campaign," Đukanović wrote on Twitter.
He said that the crimes of the past and their victims must never be forgotten, because this is the only way to prevent new suffering and that the Holocaust will remain forever on the conscience of humanity.
"It is a bitter truth that the world has unacceptably often failed to prevent the killing of innocents on a massive scale, and unfortunately it is still failing today. Denying the Holocaust is against the law and universal values," Đukanović wrote on Twitter.
