The pro-Serbian and pro-Russian Democratic Front disintegrated

The constituents of the Democratic Front (DF) will continue the political struggle individually, said the leader of the New Serbian Democracy (NSD), Andrija Mandić, marking the end of that coalition after 11 years. The president of the Movement for Change Nebojša Medojević and the leader of the Democratic People's Party (DNP) Milan Knežević refuted the allegations that there were conflicts between the leaders of the Front. Medojević announced that the PzP will go to the extraordinary parliamentary elections independently, while, as we announced earlier, the NSD and the DNP will probably go out in a coalition.
The DF made a decision that the constituents of the DF take different paths towards the same goal," Mandic said at the press conference.
He also says that they are continuing their fight. He also points out that the goal of the three leaders is for Montenegro to be united.
"It is important for us that the people who support DF know that there are no quarrels, conflicts or differences between us," Mandic said.
Medojević: PzP is going independently, there was no quarrel between the DF leaders
The president of the Movement for Change Nebojša Medojević said that they had different political views and interests, but they had a common goal to unite the Serbian and Montenegrin worlds.
"The DF mission has been accomplished, Serbs and Montenegrins in Montenegro are reconciled," Medojević said.
If there was no DF, as Medojević says, there would be no changes in Montenegro.
"It was a wonderful trip with my friends. If we don't agree on some issues, it's far less than what we agree on and what we've been through... Mission accomplished, Đukanović and DPS have fallen," Medojević said.
Medojević also says that there were no quarrels between the DF leaders and that all their coalitions at the local level remain.
"It is better to dedicate ourselves to creating an offer for voters and achieve the best possible result and offer in Montenegro," Medojević pointed out.
He announced that the PzP will appear independently in the June parliamentary elections with a program whose focus will be on how to implement reforms.
Knežević: There were no conflicts, no bad words
DNP leader Milan Knežević says that dealing with the legacy of DPS should be everyone's goal.
As he says, after the August 2020 elections, the DF started thinking about how to adapt to the new political circumstances. They were looking for modalities, he says, and this today represents the end of the Istrian journey that will leave its mark in the previous decade.
"I am convinced that it will continue to leave its mark in the coming decades. Whether someone liked it or not, DF defeated DPS", said Knežević.
He also announced that the media reports that there was a conflict between the DF leaders due to the distribution of mandates and functions are not true.
"There were no conflicts, no bad words and there will be no," said Knežević.
The leaders of the three parties did not want to answer the journalists' questions. Knežević said that the NSD and DNP will inform the citizens about the exit modalities later and that this is their last conversion on behalf of the DF and on this topic.
The Democratic Front is a political coalition officially founded in July 2012, from the New Serbian Democracy led by Andrija Mandić, the Movement for Change led by Nebojš Medojević and a group of former SNP officials led by Milan Knežević and Predrag Bulatović. Knežević will then be elected president of the Democratic People's Party, which will become a coalition partner in the DF.
