The Resolution on the Genocide in Jasenovac was adopted, the opposition and the PES MP left the assembly hall

AUTHOR:M.J.
The Parliament of Montenegro adopted the Resolution on the genocide in the system of the Jasenovac, Dachau and Mauthausen camps, which was created as a kind of reaction to the resolution on the genocide in Srebrenica, which was recently declared by the General Assembly of the United Nations.
42 deputies voted, 41 from the majority were in favor, and deputy Ilir Capuni from the Albanian Alliance voted against.
The majority of opposition MPs decided to leave the assembly hall during the vote, considering that this document was adopted at the behest of Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić and that it could threaten Montenegro's European path and relations with Croatia.
Miodrag Laković, MP of the Europe Now Movement, is of the opinion that this is not the moment to pass this resolution, and he also decided not to attend the vote.
In addition to him, Tonći Janović from the PES did not vote for the resolution, and Artan Čobi and Nikola Camaj from the Albanian Forum boycotted the session.
Independent MPs Radinka Ćinćur and Jevrosima Pejović did not vote either.
