The SEC did not determine Milojko Spajić's candidacy

At tonight's session, the State Election Commission (SIK) did not determine the candidacy of Milojko Spajić, the leader of the Europe Now Movement, as a presidential candidate.
DIK President Nikola Mugoša, Damir Suljević from the Center for Civic Education (CGO) and Vladimir Čađenović from Democratic Montenegro voted for Spajić's candidacy.
Against it were members of the SEC from the Democratic Party of Socialists (DPS) Nataša Pešić, Vera Mijatović, Nikola Dedejić and Aleksandar Jovićević from the Social Democrats (SD).
Miloš Giljen and Nataša Prelević from the Democratic Front (DF), Milisav Ćorić from the Socialist People's Party (SNP) and Haris Mekić from the Bosniak Party (BS) abstained.
During tonight's session, a notification was received from the Belgrade police department, which stated that Milojko Spajić had registered his residence from the address in the capital of Serbia on February 15.
The President of the SEC, Nikola Mugoša, said at the beginning of the session that the condition regarding the collected signatures had been met - 8,368 of them were valid.
He believes that the competences of the SEC are clearly prescribed by the Law, and that the documentation submitted by the candidate was issued on the prescribed forms and that these forms, as they were reviewed by the expert service, were certified and that they fulfill the conditions prescribed by the State Election Commission.
