Thousands of people said that the constitutional revolution cannot be stopped: "Awakened spite, we will play until the end"

At the second protest organized by the "Ima nas" movement in Podgorica, over 30,000 citizens gathered, who repeated their demands - the withdrawal of the law on the president, an agreement on the election of judges of the Constitutional Court and the calling of early parliamentary elections.
The representative of the Democratic Party of Socialists, Nikola Janović, addressed the crowd with a message that tonight everyone should say that "Montenegro is no one's back to be untied and destroyed".
Good evening to all of you with whom I celebrated so many times on these streets and squares. And we will again, I guarantee you. But before that, we need to tell the group in power from here that it is sad to see them bending their spines under other people's hands and orders. And that's exactly why it will never succeed. Because the second name of Montenegro is freedom. Our identity was and must remain that we are free people. We carry the light of that idea today, and every day to come. You, my friends, are the keepers of that flame. With the fire of that idea, let's warm as many good people as possible that this country has, regardless of nations, religions or politics. Because, as Branko Banjević used to say - conquerors and slaves do not understand freedom and its morality - stated Janović.
That is why, he points out, they are demanding extraordinary parliamentary elections immediately.
Let us measure ourselves before the citizens, let the citizens put everyone in their place and let Montenegro be free again after these elections. Montenegro must be one team with all its differences. I am well aware that nothing in this world is perfect, that there is no team that is invincible, and especially there is no team that never makes mistakes. Defeats and victories are an integral part of life and you can't escape from that - said Janović.
He adds that the point is that real winners in complicated situations do what is necessary.
You need faith in yourself and those who are with you. And you're going to the goal. We have to do that. We have to win. There is no turning back for us. And believe me, it can work that they are defeating us, and that they have kept us under water for too long, that there is no more time or hope, but if we stick together, if we know that there are us, if we have hearts, if we are determined and above all brave - they will never sink us. We will win in the most difficult moment. Here today, among us, there are no plasticine people. Here are people who think for themselves and who know what they want. And above all, they know this is wrong. The humiliation of this country must stop - said Janović.
As he added, all of them are always ready to lend a hand.
Let's build our country together with everyone who wants it, let's live with each other in Montenegro, not next to each other - he pointed out.
Instead, as he says, these days we hear how they talk ironically about protests, how they humiliate, count.
That's why it would be good if they don't forget, or useful if they learn when they haven't already - there is no greater force than when spite awakens in the citizens of Montenegro. No one has ever gotten us on that card - neither in sports, nor through our history, so they still can't today. Because challenging Montenegro is the worst thing you can do. Then you've already lost. And that's why we play until the end. To victory. Everyone who has Montenegro in their hearts is welcome. For Montenegro of all of us. There are us. That Montenegro is eternal - concluded Nikola Janović.
Director Danilo Marunović said that the spirit of cosmopolitanism, the spirit of Europe, the spirit of civilization exploded tonight.
Tonight we defend reason against delusions. Justice from injustice. We will not let our children kneel on our floors, at any price, but we will send them to European and world universities. We don't want our children to kiss anyone's hands. We want their idols to be Nobel laureates, not pop stars - said Marunović.
Just as they, as he described, "in another era, on the shoulders of their parents, here across the street, heard that they would 'fly like Dejo Savićević'", so "tonight the new generations learn how to defend their country, while we fly like Savić and Joveta".
We teach them that they always have a place in Europe, because they can be important! Because the house - Montenegro - gives it to them. Constitution. Court. State. Are we asking too much? Is it our fault that we love our country? Is it our fault that we don't want to demolish, but to preserve our mausoleums? Are we guilty of preserving the spirit of anti-fascism! We guard it, "like the night from the awake"! "We protect from the wind and from the cold winter"! Because we are the first country that stood up in enslaved Europe! We will not be ashamed of it really, but be proud, from the bottom of our hearts! Death to fascism, freedom to the people - emphasized Marunović.
He said that we should never forget that citizens are given to preserve harmony between our differences, like the Holy Grail to knights.
And we will preserve it, because cosmic justice is always on the side of the knights! Who among us has ever had a problem with even one Bosniak, Albanian, or Serb? But never anyone! But we really are with big state political megalomaniac exhibitions like Greater Serbia! He can't! Not then, not now! Our hand is extended brotherly, to anyone who does not deny us, humiliate us, who does not rob us of what is sacred to us! BUT! While for us Cetinje is a bastion of freedom and Europeanism, for some it is a bastion of extremism. For them, our brave human rights fighters are part of an extremist group! We don't give them away! No lady! We protect each other - said Marunović.
They are being protected, he adds, from Vulin's dirty propaganda machinery.
They exchanged night for day, and truth for a lie! We have no more time for delusions friends! Because, even though we have a huge and powerful enemy, we are still our own biggest enemy! They managed to divide us, and just because of that they marched into our country, camouflaged in "democratic processes", with "non-identity" policies. They managed to convince us of misconceptions by packaging them as "changes" - said Marunović.
According to him, they divided neighbors and quarreled families who were never against their country.
They knew it was the only way! Let's wake up the hell, they took everything from us! This is the night for our unification! This is a night for creation! Embrace your neighbor who thinks differently, sit with him, and with the power of goodness in yourself, the power of true patriotism, overcome the differences in ideas! Let's save our hearth, let's finish this sacred duty once and for all! A duty bequeathed to us by our great-grandfathers - said Marunović.
Let that idea finally start tonight, from this street, as he said.
Let it spread like lightning, charismatically through Montenegro, let "all the mountain wolves from the mountains" feel it, and announce it, and let it be a sign - when we are together, there is us - concluded Marunović.
Amar Borančić from the Liberal Party addressed the words that he conveys greetings from the libertarian Bar, which has preserved the image of Montenegro and which is a signpost and beacon in all times.
From the city of the first Montenegrin state, Duklja, and the famous Battle of Bar at Tuđemili, in which the Dukljan army defeated the mighty Byzantium. That's the kind of battle we still fight today, the battle for justice, for honor and for survival - said Borančič.
He adds that tonight they gathered to defend the Constitution of Montenegro.
But also to be a strong constitution, a constitution and a dam that will not pass, that will stop the flood of primitivism, lies, manipulations and the complete collapse of this society and common sense. That is why I can rightfully say that this is a constitutional revolution that no one can stop - said Borančič.
As he says, they stand for a different Montenegro.
That's why we're here to say enough is enough, you had a chance and you did nothing. Their result is collapsed health care, education, a ruined economy, destroyed companies, billions and billions of debt into which they plan to drag us, and as a seal of everything, they thought they could change the Constitution as they pleased and seduce arbitrariness and tyranny, Well, he won't be able to, not while we are here - said Borančič.
That is why, as he says, these days they are silent.
They keep quiet, because they don't know what hit them. They do not know and are not allowed to take a step further when they see citizens who have stood up and who do not give up on themselves, their reason and their country. That is why I repeat from here once again, we demand the immediate withdrawal of the Law on the President of Montenegro, we demand the election of judges of the Constitutional Court and the stabilization of the institutions of this country, and we demand extraordinary parliamentary elections, because your will and your vote must be decisive, the citizens of Montenegro will have the last word, who will put point to this farce that is becoming tragic for our country - concluded Borančič.
Tonight we are sending a clear message: There are us, there are more than enough of us, so that they feel that we are breathing down their necks and that we will not allow them to achieve this treacherous plan of theirs, according to the dictates of the false Balkan emperor Aleksandar Vučić, to wipe out Montenegro, collapse the institutions and hand it over master Vučica on a tray, packed in treason - said the secretary of the Social Democrats, Marko Rakočević.
Tonight, as he said, they are defending the dignity, honor and freedom of European, anti-fascist and modern Montenegro.
We defend it from those who are ready to sell and betray Montenegro for the crumbs from Aleksandar Vučić's table. They give it to Vučić, and sell it to Putin for a handful of Russian rubles. The performer of these shameful works is Prime Minister Abazović, who, after betraying and deceiving everyone in Montenegro, will be judged by history as it judged all traitors - Rakočević assessed.
As he pointed out, this is not 1918 and it never will be.
It will not happen until we, Montenegrin daughters and sons, do not agree to betrayal, to the sale of Montenegro, do not agree to the collapse of the constitutional and legal order, do not accept to be other people's servants - Rakočević is categorical.
He adds, "we have never agreed, nor can we, not we, not the Montenegrins who fired the first shot on July 13, 1941 in then-enslaved Europe and thus began the magnificent uprising and anti-fascist struggle."
Not us, whose ancestors perished on Grahova, Fundina, Vučje Dol, Carevo Laz and Mojkovac. Not! Not because there are us, not because freedom is all we fight for. Let the deposed traitors who are listening to us tonight know that we are not the only ones saying this. This is what the Montenegrin centuries and Montenegrin grandfathers are saying, this is what the developed Montenegrin flag is saying, which protected itself with its chest and heart - said Rakočević.
According to him, this is the story of our every stone and every peak, which the destroyers of Montenegro could not reach even with a glance.
These are not resolutions and declarations. These are oaths. We won't give you Montenegro, We won't give you our mother, We won't give you our life, because "A man without a homeland is no longer a man," said Marko Miljanov. But pasaran - concluded Rakočević.
Professor at the Faculty of Philology Dr. Jasmina S. Nikčević addressed those gathered in front of the Assembly.
I am addressing you tonight together with all the wonderful speakers as the mother of two young people who are among you as at previous gatherings and as a professor who has been surrounded by young generations eager for knowledge and progressive ideas and perspectives for years and as a non-partisan personality. As someone who teaches at the university, as well as many of my colleagues who are also with you tonight, as well as at numerous previous gatherings. And precisely because of this, we would all like to have even more of us, to respect numerous respected professors and associates, students, all of whose differences, be they of national, confessional, cultural or ideological orientation, that all of them, as academic citizens, free intellectuals, cosmopolitans by definition of education and way of life, understand that what we are currently living is a moment in which all differences and differences and individual aspirations should be ignored and transcended - said Nikčević.
She pointed out that tonight's, as well as at previous and future gatherings, are not the protests of any party, party group, or individual, but a great moment "and an important responsible time that requires a clear and firm position and a loud universal cry for the defense and preservation of the constitutional order and institution of the state of Montenegro".
Multicultural, multiconfessional, secular, pro-European! Sovereign, anti-fascist, always libertarian and civil states! (Both the Christmas insurgents in 1919 and the Belvedere martyrs in 1936 and the Thirteenth of July insurgents who astounded the whole of Europe in 1941 wanted and fought for Montenegro) - she emphasized.
According to her, those gathered in front of the Assembly and everyone who knows the importance of this time and who wish well for their country, their home, who have the opportunity to fight with upbringing, knowledge, education, enlightenment, have no right to remain silent, but yes, as she said , strongly raise their voice against the threat to the constitutional order and state institutions, against the threat to civil Montenegro.
And I don't have to ask you - Are there any of us! There are us and there will be us, just as Montenegro has always been and will be! That it is eternal for us - said Nikčević.
The president of the Swiss-Montenegrin Association in Schaffhausen, Šefko Ličina, said that "our group is not anyone's story".
That was our being, our existence. Montenegrins, Croats, Bosniaks, Serbs, Muslims, Roma and everyone else who cares about Montenegro - I greet you from the Swiss diaspora. We don't have other homelands, that's why we are here to defend the legacies left to us by our ancestors - said Ličina.
On behalf of everyone across Europe, he says: "Keep your hands off civil, European and anti-fascist Montenegro. And to whom our jewel does not fit, good luck, and we will welcome all who love these hills into the Montenegrin embrace - said Ličina and added "That it is eternal, and it will be as long as we are there".
Social Democratic Party (SDP) functionary Mirko Stanić wished good evening to decent, polite, honorable and European Montenegro.
Good evening to all of you for whom it is enough to respond to violence with a song, and to threats and threats with a Ljubo Čupić smile. We and they know why they run away from elections. We and they both know that they jumped out of taxis too quickly into Mercedes and Audis, tours of exotic locations, parties and employment of friends, brothers and godfathers. Both we and they know that they are doing everything that they allegedly fought against - Stanić pointed out.
And that's why, as he added, they are not allowed in front of the citizens, "because all the squads would end up in ugly political history".
They ask us what we are defending on the street, so let me admit that I am defending the most valuable thing that I inherited. Montenegrin cap and medal for courage of great-grandfather Mirko and partisan monument of great-grandfather Radosav. Both they and we know what we are defending and that is why they run away from elections. They know that there are more of us who are for European and civil Montenegro, than for Vučić's and Putin's Montenegro - said Stanić.
But they also know that "they will not be relaxed at all, once the hand of justice knocks on their door".
Your politics of hate will not be stronger than our love. And don't be afraid that we will make a problem at this protest. We are decent, honorable and polite Montenegro. We will tell you about our love for Montenegro, and you will tell us how you tore up and threw the Constitution under our feet, breaking the parliamentary inventory, pulling cables. And they roasted a pig in front of the Assembly - Stanić pointed out.
They add, in the end, they only want one thing, what he sincerely wants for his children.
For once in your life, feel the emotion we feel when we watch our girls and boys sing the Montenegrin national anthem, how they fight for the great winger Crnojević and Petrović, the red and gold colors of Vojislavljević and Balšić. For a modern Montenegro in which we know who we are and whose we are and where we are going - pointed out Stanić.
For everyone else, he adds, "whoever doesn't want to, has no drive".
Therefore, shake off the dust from those red flags, raise up the winger of freedom. Spread the blue and yellow colors of our future European home, but also of our fraternal Ukraine, which is fighting for freedom. May Montenegro be eternal - Glory to Ukraine - said Stanić.
Student Ilija Vujačić said that tonight they gathered again at the gates of the law, in front of the Montenegrin assembly - "because it has to be".
And so it will be, as long as they are deaf to our requests. Maybe they are still counting us, so they don't have a time - said Vujacic.
He wants, as he adds, to greet citizens who are ready to say no to tyranny, decay and high treason.
All those who don't just care about political and party interests, anyone who has enough to say enough is enough, there is no retreat, there is no going back. I welcome our fan groups, who are always and without reservation where Montenegro is encouraged, loved and defended. Likewise, the Montenegrin sportsmen, who bring new triumphs on the sports fields under this flag, under our double-headed eagle, thank them for all the moments of immense happiness and pride that enable us day by day. Let's wish luck to our golden lionesses, let it be heard in Ljubljana that their Montenegro is with them wholeheartedly - said Vujačić.
He needs, he adds, to greet the "1,262 members of the police and police services, who are also tonight" with them.
Believe me, among them there are quite a few who would be on this side of the fence tonight, and will be if we need them. I especially want to say hello to friends, acquaintances and all those who told me: "We think the same as you, but how can I get out... Let the devil go... I'll fail the exam, let the devil go, I'll get fired..." I want to tell them that from tonight there are no more excuses. And we are also there for you who are sitting at home. If we are already greeting tonight, it would not be appropriate to skip over the political elite. Let's also greet the representatives of the so-called majority tonight, I believe they are watching us. Let's also welcome their decisions and unsuccessful attempts that we are not there, to convince us that we have a different name, that we are a communist fabrication and that we will disappear. Let's welcome them as they deserve - said Vujacic.
He also greeted, as he says, the so-called technical government and its president.
It's time, he also greeted us. Prime Minister, go out in front of your citizens, to hear freedom sing. Since we are just a number to you, come out and count us yourself. But I'm afraid that you only know how to count up to 21 - said Vujacic.
The executive director of the NGO Forum of Free Citizens Luča Nebojša Mrvaljević said ironically that he must be honest and admit that the gathered citizens are extremists because, as he says, they love their only homeland - Montenegro.
Because we stand extremely steadfastly in the defense of its rights, freedom and honor, Montenegrin history and its fundamental values and constitutional arrangement, because we are an extremely strong defense of the unity of its peoples, religions and citizens and the European values they inherit, because we resist extremely well and will resist any attempt at provocation and radicalization as desired by Jole and others like him - emphasized Mrvaljević.
As he said, tonight they are standing next to each other.
So strongly, as I urge you to stand by our good, indomitable, hard-working and brave brother from Prijestonica, Dejan Turčinović, guilty because he is extremely brave and honest. Falcons are not tied - said Mrvaljević.
As he said, last time free and defiant Montenegro gathered in this place.
And from tonight he will be moving from here. Step by step, Montenegro. She is moving, just as she gathered and spoke - democratically, Montenegrin defiantly and European calmly, dignified as it only befits us, all of us, however many of us there are. And there are us - concluded Mrvaljević.
