Three people from Novlja suspected of attacking Albanian citizens have been identified

The police have identified three people from Herceg Novi who are suspected of having attacked Albanian citizens in Zelenica today.
Information about the incident was initially published by the Democratic Union of Albanians (DUA), stating that eight persons in uniform attacked three Albanian citizens in Kotor.
The police announced that video recordings from surveillance cameras from nearby buildings were seized, and that three Novlja residents were identified as the attackers through operational work in the field.
Through operative work in the field, members of the police identified three persons from Herceg Novi, as the perpetrators of the physical attack, whose identity was subsequently determined - said the police.
They say that, according to the information so far, the cause of the incident was a traffic incident.
Please note, the attacked persons were in the critical period in a vehicle that did not have the license plates of the Republic of Albania and according to the information collected so far, i.e., according to the currently available information, the cause of the incident was a situational event in traffic - they pointed out in the statement.
According to them, today in the afternoon hours, it was reported to the duty service of the Herceg Novi Security Department by phone that, on the main road in the town of Zelenika, there was a violation of public order and peace by several unknown persons.
Police officers were sent to the scene where they found three persons, all Albanian citizens, who had visible injuries, and who were then sent to seek medical help - the police stated.
The competent prosecutor has been informed of the event, who will declare his legal qualification after undertaking further ordered measures and actions in relation to these persons, as well as the identification of possible other perpetrators, and the public will be informed about this, as the police point out, in a timely manner.
Previously, Prime Minister Milojko Spajić announced that one of the attackers had been identified, and announced that information about the others would soon be known.
