Two years after the tragedy in Cetinje, citizens paid tribute to the victims

AUTHOR: M.J.-POBJEDA
Citizens of Cetinje, including members of the families of those killed in the great tragedy that happened two years ago today in the Medovina settlement, gathered today to commemorate the victims of the massacre in the capital.
More than a dozen citizens started from the intersection near the government building towards the square where they lit candles and paid their respects to the victims.
Among those gathered are the director of the Police Administration, Zoran Brđanin, as well as the head of the CB Cetinje, Miljan Ćirović, and the head of the Sector for the fight against crime, Lazar Ščepanović.
Citizens left roses and lit candles on the square, and released twenty white balloons in honor of the tragically deceased.
The mother and grandmother of the murdered people spoke in front of the citizens and said that she had hoped for justice, but that apparently nothing came of it.
- All criminals in any system must be sanctioned. We do not want selective justice, officials live at our expense and they should bear responsibility, she said.
She said that the former head of the CB Cetinje, Dalibor Šaban, gave an order to confiscate the weapon from the murderer Vuk Borilović, however, as she says, nothing was done by the Cetinje prosecutor's office.
