Volkov: I expect that the exceptional council of the Higher Court lifted Detention Veljovic, his health condition seriously disrupted

One of the defenders of the former director of the Police Management Board (UP) Veselina Veljovic, Mr. Mihailo Volkov told victory that he had not yet received the indictment but expected to be delivered today or tomorrow.

He expects the exceptional council of the High Court to make a decision to defend himself from freedom, because his client has been in custody for six months, adding that his health care is seriously disturbed.

We remind you, the Special State Prosecutor's Office (SDT) has filed an indictment against the former director of Veselin Veljovic's police for abuse of official position.

The indictment represented by the Prosecutor Jovan Vukotić, is covered by 15 people and as an organizer of the criminal group that was engaged in cigarette smuggling, Aleksandar Mrkić was marked on the run.

Nikola Mrkić, Mujo Nikocevic, Arsenia Kalezić, Nikola Bulatović, Željko Bulatović, Dusica Bulatović, Nemanja, Germany, Nemanja Glušević, Nikola Glušević and Sadig Elnagar. The indictment was submitted to the Higher Court whose council will decide the latest on the morning of whether the Veljović will defend himself from freedom, or his detention will be extended.
