The budget of Montenegro for 2024 is projected at 3.47 billion euros, announced the Minister of Finance Novica Vuković.
Vuković, in a guest appearance in the TVCG daily, said that in 2024 a debt of half a billion will be due.
Speaking about the debt, Vuković said that the interest rates for the new debt of about 200 million, which was recently approved, are between 6.4 and 6.5 percent.
He also noted that the debt negotiations with local banks have been completed.
A good framework has been created and it is the first step towards the Government adopting the law on the budget, which is planned for tomorrow. We have carefully analyzed the income and expenditure side and optimization is at the center of our plans. We plan to finance current liabilities from current income, Vuković said.
He also said that the planned budget is higher by about 496 million compared to the current one.
