Warned the Prophets that the new mandate for Zorić is complicity in endangering public interest

Author: M.J.

The Administrative Board of the Assembly today will decide on two candidates for members of the Council of Radio-Television of Montenegro (RTCG).

The current member of the RTCG ODD Zorić council has also been reported on the competition, which the term of office stands out in June. He is the only candidate proposed by national cultural institutions and non-governmental organizations in the field of culture.

The Administrative Committee will discuss and choose one of the two candidates of the University of Montenegro Vladimir Drekalović and Velizar Sredanović. The previous member of the Council on behalf of UCG was Bojan Bać, which resigned on the day of the Reference General of RTCG Boris Raonić.

Due to the reinpoint of Zorić, ten employees in RTCG wrote to the Proštiči, pointing out that he was unworthy of that function.

Naod Zorić wants to extend the mandate. But he is unworthy of such a function, bearing in mind how he has so far defended the public interest. We remind you that the Naod Zorić took part in the illegal choice of the Raonić in the position of General Director in August 2021 and June 2023, on the judgment of the Basic Court, the High Court, the Supreme Court and the ASK's Supreme Court.

Giving a new mandate to such a person is against the rule of law and the European Commission's warning, and for many voters and the public would be an unambiguous public interest - writing to the Assembly signed by Srdjan Covic, Caslav Vujotić, Tanja Šuković, Snezana Rakonjac, Vesna Banović, Natasa Baranin, Vesna Terić, Mladen Vukčević, Žarko Božović, Slaven Knezović and Jelena Bobičić-Čović.

The current composition of the Council of RTCG was elected the Assembly of Montenegro on June 11, 2021. Bojan Baća (proposal of the University of Montenegro) were then appointed,

Naod Zorić (Razedan in front of National Culture and NGOs), Filip Lazovic, Veselin Drljevac) (on the proposal of the NGOs in the field of Media), Milica Murić, (NGO suggestions), Marijana Camović-Veličković (in front of the free trade union) and Predrag Marsenić (Proposal of the Montenegrin Olympic Committee). Žarko Mirković, proposed by Montenegrin Akedemia of Science and Arts, two months later resigned, and after the new invitation, the Academician Predrag Miranović was elected.

By drawing the law, then the duration of the mandate was determined, according to which five years will be Filip Lazović, Veselin Drljević, Milica Spajević, and Predrag Marsenic.

The terms of four years received Amina Murić, Marijana Camović-Veličković, and then Miranovic, while Zoric and Baates were given a three-year term.
