The heat wave coming from northwest Africa will cause high air temperatures in Montenegro, which will range from 37 to 40 degrees in many places, and in some places even exceed 40 degrees, the Ministry of the Interior announced.
The Protection and Rescue Directorate sent a warning to all participants in the protection system and indicated the need to increase operational readiness.
- Our area will be under the influence of the ridge from northwest Africa, which includes the influx of warm air mass that will cause very warm weather in the coming period. It is expected that this situation will continue during most of the next week - it is written in the statement of the MUP.
They add that this meteorological situation can lead to droughts and cause fires.
