The President of Kotor Municipality, Vladimir Jokić, condemned the attack by vandals on the staircase in the protected complex of the Church of the Virgin in Prčanje and promised the support of the local administration in repairing the damage to the stone balustrade.
He emphasized that on behalf of the Municipality of Kotor and in his own name, he "strongly" condemns the rampage of vandals and the demolition of the staircase at the Temple of the Virgin during the night.
The most primitive, savage and unworthy behavior of hooligans will certainly not go unpunished. We will do everything in our power to find the perpetrators and adequately punish them, and we are available to the Diocese of Kotor and the Church of the Virgin Mary to jointly restore the destroyed and remove all the damage caused to the largest Christian temple in Boka - said Jokić on Facebook.
