The President of the European Commission, Ursula von der Leyen, is considering the possibility of rescheduling her visit to Montenegro, EC spokeswoman Dana Spinant announced.
"We are sorry that we could not make the trip to Podgorica because of the thick fog. The President is interested in talking with Montenegrin colleagues when the occasion permits. We are considering the possibility of rescheduling the visit," said Spinant.
She said that the EC hopes to be in a position to make a new announcement regarding Montenegro soon.
"This week is the Summit of the Berlin Process, at the moment we do not have information about the participation of all Western Balkan countries, but of course she will use this opportunity to convey messages related to our support for Montenegro," said Spinant.
