The President of the Municipality of Plav Nihad Canović paid tribute to the victims of the NATO bombing, which happened on this day in 1999 in the town of Murino.
Innocent civilian victims of various conflicts represent one of the greatest tragedies of the modern world. On April 30, 1999, the Murin victims were caught in the web of a conflict in which they had no role, yet they paid the highest price - with their lives. Every civilian victim is one too many, because behind every name there is a family, friends, dreams. No reason can justify their loss, remembering them, today in Murina, we preserve a painful memory and show respect for the suffering of their families - Canović announced on Twitter.
