We will not withdraw support for changes to the law on the president

The president of Demorkat, Aleksa Bečić, said after the meeting of the leaders of the parliamentary parties that he is an advocate of dialogue and that he believes that there is no alternative.
It is very easy to recognize the responsibility and which side you are on - who are those who lead a moderate policy and who are those who like tensions to arise, he said.
He is worried, as he says, about the high level of amnesia.
Labels and lessons are easily shared and we all forget what happened a few months ago. You remember the hysteria when we adopted the Law on the State Prosecutor's Office, time has shown that it was in the best interest of the public - said Bečić.
He also adds that 46 deputies took over the responsibilities of the president of the assembly a few months ago and scheduled a session in Cetinje. He also listed the postponement of elections, "anti-Zetical laws"...
The conclusion is that institutions are the only competent ones to give judgment in our legal system. The Constitutional Court is responsible for evaluating constitutionality. Whether Montenegro will get a functional Constitutional Court depends on the deputies. We will not withdraw support for changes to the law on the president - he said.
As he said, if judges are elected on November 22, he has nothing against the President of the Constitutional Court immediately putting all controversial issues on the agenda.
And we will respect the verdicts - said Bečić.
