Zindović: Determine responsibility for losing EU funds for Montenegro

Center for Civic Education (CCE) indicates that the Government of Montenegro failed to produce any quality project that would be included in the financial package of 2.1 billion euros, as well as the European Union (EU) for 14 transport areas, energy, energy Environment, human capital and private sector support in the Western Balkans, is another expression of its inexpost, uncontrollability and lack of quality args at different levels, said associate in the programs in the CGO Milica Zindović.

It considers that due to the uncrums and unprofessionalness of members of this government, direct damage suffered by citizens and citizens that limits the quality of life.

And they take funds to pay needs in these areas, although we could get them as a form of support from the EU. CGO reminds that users of investment are 2.1 billion euros, Albania, North Macedonia, or Bosnia and Herzegovina, or that Montenegro is the only project that no project that has been supported is supported - Zindović pointed out.

CGO has previously warned that this government is not a priority of European integration, and as Zindovic assessed, they receive a lot of confirmation for that.

In this context, she reminded that the most negative unofficial report on the situation in Chapters 23 and 24 has received so far and in which the political will of government is no longer seen in Brussels.

This monitors this most serious warning of bad absorption capacities for EU funds. It is not a surprise, keeping in mind that institutional memory has not been preserved, nor the optimization, professionalization and depoliticization of public administration has been implemented. Aggressive party employment, which was marginalized or driven by a limited number of professionals in the state administration, now results in a direct negative financial effect in the retreat of EU funds in the country's important development.

All this, according to her assessment, further destroys the credibility of Montenegro's credibility anyway.

CGO appeals that the new government of Montenegro, which should be as fast as formed, put these issues in the top of their priorities and take the necessary measures and performs the urgent audit / evaluation of project applications, addressing all their shortcomings, and determine the responsibility of those who are due to whose action black Gora remains without significant EU financial support. By establishing a clear line of responsibility, it can be influenced by the prevention of similar losses of money and reputation of the state and in the future - Zindović underlined.

She said that incompetence and negligence and / or bad intentions of a few must not take off the prevail of what is the public interest of the state of Montenegro, and which could be great opportunities for university societal growth and development.

Also, it is important that citizens and citizens know who is responsible for such failures and that such also bear political and other attorney responsibility - Zindović concluded.
