Zirojević: Instead of Milojko Spajić 1, we get Milorad Dodik 2

AUTHOR: M.J.
Today's statement by Prime Minister Milojko Spajić regarding changes to the Law on Citizenship is an unprecedented precedent and a very serious threat to Montenegro, said Social Democrat (SD) MP Nikola Zirojević.
Zirojević reacted to Spajić's statement that changes to the Law on Citizenship will not allow new citizens of Montenegro to vote in the next 10 years.
- In his characteristic manner of relativizing and trivializing everything, including this issue, the prime minister refers to the case of his child who has French citizenship and his uncles who live abroad. And yet, no matter how much the Prime Minister was affected by the song "Pjevaj ujko, pjevaj rode", he was not elected to this position to solve family problems, but to work responsibly in the interests of this country. At the same time, without blinking an eye, the prime minister tells the classic lie that this law will prescribe the conditions for acquiring the right to vote, citing a period of 10 years and some additional conditions. It would not be the first time for him to lie publicly, but for the sake of the citizens of Montenegro - this issue is defined by the Constitution of Montenegro, which states that the right to vote is obtained with the condition of at least two years of residence in Montenegro - Zirojević stated in the announcement.
He pointed out that the prime minister must be aware of other very dangerous consequences of such a thoughtless statement.
- In this way, and let him be sure that it will be so if he continues at this pace, he leads to a new blockage and obstruction of the work of the Committee for Comprehensive Electoral Reform, which is responsible, among other things, for the Law on Citizenship. If anyone, including the Prime Minister himself, plans to make any changes to this or any other law without this Committee, let him be aware that, from that moment on, the Committee can be dissolved - notes Zirojević.
In the end, he adds, it is obvious that the Prime Minister is slowly but surely coming under the influence of Andrija Mandić and Milan Knežević.
- Because the intention is clear - by the next regular parliamentary elections, to provide a minimum of over 100,000 new voters who, as we had the opportunity to see in the local elections in Belgrade, would be brought by buses and directed to the polling stations. You will not see that film in Montenegro - said Zirojević.
As he said, Spajić went from happy talk about welfare and economic topics to the radical right and started topics about which he either knows nothing, or uses them very calculatedly to work to the detriment of Montenegro.
- So today, instead of the program Europe now 2, he offers us the program Citizenship 2 now and presents himself as the best exponent of that program, because it was he who, due to the illegal possession of the citizenship of another country, had his candidacy for the presidency suspended. In the same way, slowly but surely, Montenegro will get Milorad Dodik 2 instead of Milojko Spajić 1 at the head of the Government and that, under these circumstances, is a completely logical sequence of events. But how good he is for the prime minister and his political option, the results of the local elections show, and will only show - concluded Zirojević.
