Zirojević: Vuković pawn in the service of Marko Kovačević

President of SO Nikšić, Nemanja Vuković, a Democrat official, despite the fact that I informed him in private communication before the Collegium, and at the Collegium itself, that from 9.02. to be officially absent outside of Montenegro in the evening, and asked to schedule the session at which the dismissal of the municipal president Marko Kovačević will be discussed at least 02.02 instead of 02. informed him that I will not be in the country.
After I presented this request at the Collegium of the President of the SO, none of those present had any complaints, while my colleague from DPS Boris Muratović expressed the opinion that my request should be met. The president of the SO replied that he would think about it, after which we were informed about the convening of the session the very next day.
To be completely clear - I did not expect either Vuković or any member of the government to understand the essence of our initiative and to contribute to the construction of a civil and tolerant Nikšić by supporting it. And yet, I expected a minimum of correctness from the first man of the local parliament, who should have acted in accordance with the already well-known positive practice of always meeting the demands of party representatives of this type, if possible. Especially since Vuković does not miss the opportunity to boast in every place that the Nikšić parliament is an example of how an institution of this type should function and an example of mutual respect between interlocutors. It is true, Mr. Vuković - we are a much better opposition than you were, but at the same time you are an incomparably worse government than we were.
I understand. on the other hand, that both Vuković and his employer, the president of the municipality Marko Kovačević, have an interest in me not being present at this session. Not because my absence will change the outcome of the vote, because it is clear that the politics of the DF essentially resides in the ranks of the Democrats, SNP, URA and all other entities of the government, but because they have serious problems and difficulties with certain questions and statements to answer.
There are no political victories, SO president, by hiding from criticism and looking for legal ways to prevent those whose right it is to speak. This is done with the head held high and without fear of a verbal duel with anyone. I know that it is not easy for you to fight with the fact that you are essentially nothing more than an advanced department of the DF, and not a civil party as you declare yourself to be. My absence will not help you in that fight, because your actions are your greatest enemy.
In advance, I wish you a successful session tomorrow, without doubting that you will formally show your compactness with the DF and the mayor during the voting. I regret that on this occasion, as well as with this behavior, you will prove that you are not an autonomous politician, but a pawn in the hands of Marko Kovačević. Which is certainly legitimate, but disappointing for me, Zirojević said.
