MUWN- When did you start playing music?
BŠ-I started playing music as a little girl at various competitions, and professionally at the age of 18.
MUWN-Where did you have your first performance and how do you remember it?
BŠ-. I had my first performance in Kolašin at a youth event. I was only 6 years old. I won with the song "Sarajčice let's go".
MUWN-You have worked with many musicians, what is the cooperation with them like, especially those who have proven themselves in their work?
BŠ- In cooperation with musicians and orchestras, I would single out a few from Belgrade, Ljubiša Pavković, Jašarević, Branislav Djokić, Buca Jovanović, Krnjevac. From Sarajevo, Šerbo, Jovica, then Petković, from Macedonia Koča Petrovski and now in recent times with our orchestras from Montenegro led by Peković and Nedeljković.
MUWN- Being a musician requires a lot of travel. Which ones are particularly memorable to you?
BŠ- I traveled a lot, I went all over the world promoting my homeland with my song. I have the most impressions from traveling in Australia, America and Canada.
MUWN-Have you recorded a duet song with any of your colleagues so far, are you planning to in the future and with whom would you like to?
BŠ- I recently recorded a wonderful duet with Tanja Šeter and Zdravko Djuranović.
For now, I'm not thinking of recording any more duets.
MUWN- How often do you perform, how important is this type of work for musicians, surely you have numerous anecdotes from those performances?
BŠ- I no longer go on those big tours, I only sing at concerts that suit me and not that often. I sang many concerts with my famous colleagues. We had wonderful gatherings with various anecdotes. We were like a big family, everyone got along well .It was a nice life that today's younger colleagues of mine don't have and don't socialize the way it used to be.
MUWN- What are your plans for the next period?
BŠ- I had solo concerts in Nikšić and Podgorica, on the occasion of my jubilee, 55 years of professional work on the music scene. I plan to hold several more concerts by the end of the year. After this one in Podgorica, the next one is in Cetinje. Each of these concerts was very well attended, more tickets were requested. I am very happy that after so many years, my songs are loved and listened to as they were the day I recorded the first one.
