Montenegrin Diaspora: You are responsible for Katnic's life

The Montenegrin diaspora from Germany called on the Montenegrin authorities to abandon, as they pointed out, the inhumane persecution of the former chief special prosecutor Milivoj Katnić and to do everything to enable him to receive fair and humane treatment in the criminal proceedings they initiated against him, to respect his right to life and allow him to defend himself from freedom.

Revanchist "landing actions" directed against Montenegrin patriots have been going on for almost four years, since the pro-Russian and pro-Serbian political elites, led by the Church of Serbia, which is their dominant leader and implements all processes in this government of Montenegro, took over power.

Now it's their turn former chief special prosecutor Milivoje Katnić, who saved Montenegro and its citizens in 2016 when he foiled a coup d'état, planned in Russia and prepared in neighboring Serbia, with the support of local pro-Russian and pro-Serbian socio-political elites. .

Montenegro and its people, after 1918 of the last century, suffered a brutal and tragic blow to the nation and the state, after it was occupied and annexed by the Serbian army. History repeats itself, and the dream of a "great Serbia" does not exist without Montenegro, so one of the key strategists of the "Serbian world" project - the Church of Serbia, through its priests, is still the main tool for preparing the public for the hunt for distinguished Montenegrins. .

The arrest of the former chief special prosecutor Milivoj Katnić is perceived by the Montenegrin diaspora, cc 140,000 of them, as a threat to all who protect their country Montenegro, its anti-fascist foundations and civilizational values on which civil, multicultural, multi-confessional Montenegro perseveres.

We say that the times of traitors to Montenegro, such as Janko Vukotić and his followers from the time of the Podgorica Assembly in 1918, are over and that the current "siege" of Montenegro, imposed under the leadership of the "spiritual mantles" of the Church of Serbia, is already on its way out.

Hence the rush to imprison Montenegrin patriots, following the recipe of Nikola Pašić and his vizier popularly known as "Aca palikuća" Karađorđević.

With his resistance - a hunger and thirst strike due to unjust imprisonment, Mr. Katnić showed that there are still heroes in Montenegro like the anti-fascist Ljubo Čupić, who bravely laughed in the face of the occupier, after he was imprisoned and taken to be shot.

And Mr. Katnić bravely and dignifiedly chooses death, instead of the humiliation and killing of dignity to which he is exposed by the new Montenegrin authorities. That is why we appeal to the judicial authorities in Montenegro to, first of all, respect the Geneva Convention and provide Mr. Katnić with adequate and basic humane conditions for defense and respect his right to life.
